About ARF

ARF is a no kill, non traditional animal rescue and shelter. We take in stray, abused, and unwanted animals and find them new, forever homes. Sometimes, it just happens that the new forever home is ARF! We are non-traditonal in that our adoptable dogs stay in large, comfy kennels complete with beds, toys, and get plenty of exercise throughout the day. Dogs are let out of their kennels at minimum four times daily, usually much more. Our cats stay in a house that is off limits to the dogs! This way, they can live as stress free as possible, and enjoy quiet music, large picture windows where they can watch the birds eat from the feeders, and the squirrels climb the trees. ARF is a happy place, and we strive to make ARF a place where animals and adopters feel as if they are at a home, not a shelter, while they await adoption or come to find the newest member of their family.
